Glossier Product Review

Makeup Monday – More Glossier Products

Posted while saying, “ommmmmm.”

Hello and Welcome to Touch of Tay. Today is Monday which means it’s time for Makeup Monday. If you are new to Touch of Tay you should know there are no rules and no judgments here on my blog, it is an open environment for everyone mainly because I have no idea what I am doing.

OK, let’s get started.

Glossier Product Review

Last week I mentioned that I bought two new Glossier products and I am super excited to share them with you. If you haven’t tried Glossier products, you really need to. They are a beautiful company doing wonderful things to women.

I finally gave it and bought a Could Paint. I follow Glossier on Instagram, and they were pushing this product hard for a hot minute there. I was really hard to pick a color online, but I ultimately decided to go with the shade Dusk.

First thought, this product is WAY smaller than I thought it was going to be. This thing is pretty tiny at .33oz.

Glossier Cloud Paint Review

First impressions were it was way too dark for me; it could have been used as a contour shade. Second impressions were better, I used less product and blended around a larger area on my face.

Finally thoughts, this is great on those days where you are going to wear no makeup, but you don’t want to look dead, so you throw this on. I haven’t been able to figure out how to work this into my regular makeup routine. I set my foundation (Perfecting Skin Tint) with powder because I have oily skin and I wear my makeup all day long. Cream blushes usually don’t play nice with powders.

Glossier Super Bounce Review

I finally got the face serum I have been looking for! I have been searching high and low for the perfect night time face serum to make my skin feel healthy and hydrated. I previously bought Super Glow and wasn’t so fond of it. It has the consistency of water and doesn’t do much for me. The Super Bounce, on the other hand, has been giving me the feel lately.

Glossier Super Bounce Review

I apply Super Bounce after cleansing and toning and right before I apply my moisturizer. I just put one dot of serum on both my cheeks and my forehead and dab until fully absorbed.

I got a sample of the Milky Jelly Cleanser which I was super excited to try out.

The description of the product is:

“This is the ultimate daily face wash: use on dry skin to dissolve away makeup and grime, or on wet skin as you start your day. The pH-balanced, creamy gel formula is made with a blend of five skin conditioners, so your face is left feeling healthy and soft, never tight. Its cleansing power comes from the same gentle cleaning agents you’d find in contact lens solution, so it’s tough on impurities and still safe to use on your eyes. You’ll see.”

I have used the cleanser twice now, and I am undecided on how I feel about it. The product doesn’t suds up or lather at all, it really is like a jelly consistency. I feel like it isn’t really getting my face clean but that could just all be in my head.

I have been using the Cetifil face cleanser for years which is also a nonlathering type of face wash, so I’m pretty used to it, but for some reason, the Milk Jelly Cleaner seems different.

Thank you so much for reading this week’s Makeup Monday, and I will be you back here on Friday for Fresh Find Friday.
