Written while enjoying the sunshine!
HAPPY MONDAY, Y’ALL! Thank you so much for stopping by on this beautiful Monday, I hope you are having a magical day wherever you are in the world. If you are new to Touch of Tay, welcome! I hope you like what you read and maybe leave a little comment below since your opinions matter too!
Let’s get down to it.
Grose name but hopefully a better product. I bought the Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief from Clinique last week because I am THIRSTY, well at least my face is.
I have been using the bareMinerals Butter Drench moisturizer for two years but thought it was time for a change since I have heard wonderful things about this product. Both the Clinique and bareMinerals moisturizers are the same price and are both 1.7oz (I think Moisture Surge might be one dollar more).
I haven’t tried this product yet because I am working on finishing the bareMinerals lotion first. If I start using the Clinique now, I will never finish my other one and the CYCLE WILL CONTINUE.
But I will keep you posted.
My mom gave me the No.4 Mighty Hair Spray because it didn’t work for her. I had never used anything from this brand before, so I went you out on a limb here for you guys. Turns out, I kind of love it.
I have been using the Garnier hairspray in the #2 hold for years and years and loved it. I don’t use hairspray often, but when I do, I don’t want my hair to feel like I have hairspray in it. I like a lightweight hold, and honestly, that is all I need for my hair.
I would say the No.4 and the Garnier hairspray are pretty similar in hold and texture. The only difference is the smell, the No.4 hairspray doesn’t smell all the great, but it doesn’t stick around, so I don’t mind.
All in all, I’m diggin’ it.
After totally bashing the highlighter trend for going on way too long in my Fresh Finds Friday post last week I, of course, went out and bought a highlighter. I am such a hypocrite, and I blame Mariah Leonard.
I was watching Mariah’s $10 And Under Drugstore Makeup That Preforms Like HIGH-END Makeup and it was love at first sight when I saw the Maybelline Master Strobing Liquid. I should know better than to watch a video like that before going to Target but I’m young and dumb and in love.
I got the color gold because I usually gravitate toward gold toned highlighters because I want people to think I just got back from a tropical vacation…no one does. Anyway, I find this product to be appropriate for work (that’s the place where adults go to get their daily dose of soul crushing….LOL JK) since it is very lightweight and sheer.
Alright, party people that is all I have for you today on Makeup Monday. Please leave a comment below; I will seriously love you since no one EVER COMMENTS! Have a great day/night, and I will see you back here later this week.
Love your faces.
Missed last week’s Makeup Monday, I’ve gotchu boo.
