Makeup Monday/Tuesday – GOLDFADEN MD

Written while fighting a cold, again.

Hello and Welcome back to Touch of Tay. It’s not Monday, but I figure Tuesday’s suck just as much as Monday’s so we might as well call this a Makeup Monday, right?

Let’s get started.

I am subscribed to the Popsugar monthly subscription box, and in this months box, I got the GOLDFADEN MD Fresh A Peel face mask. I usually don’t like peel off masks because they hurt but I figured I would give this one a try.

GOLDFADEN MD REVIEW

After reading the directions on the back, I realized this isn’t even a peel-off mask. It’s just a regular mask that you wash off. Confusing since the name of the product uses the word, “peel.”

Anyway, here are the directions:

Use on clean skin. Dispense a small amount of gel to your fingertips and smooth over entire face and neck. Leave on for 1 to 3 minutes, depending on tolerance. Rinse off with cool water. Use in the evening 2-3 time per week, or as tolerated.

OK, I don’t know about you guys, but when a product’s directions has the word tolerance in it (twice), I get a little freaked out. So I put this product on my face expecting tingling, burning, or something similar and NOTHING happened.

This is no a joke. Nothing happen. There I am standing in front of my bathroom mirror trying to figure out what my life was all about. I left the mask on for about 2.5 minutes and rinsed off and realized I had just wasted 2.5 minutes of my life.

Let’s not forget that this mask is $85 (let that sink in) and for what? If I am missing something, please let me know because this little guy is going in the trash.

That is all I have for you today. Sorry, my posting schedule has been a bit off even though I am sure none of you noticed and couldn’t care less.

Have a great week, and I’ll see you back here for Fresh Finds Friday.
