Makeup Monday – Memorial Day

The Touch Of Tay Blog

Posted while watching the fireworks.

Happy Memorial Day everyone! I hope you are all enjoying a wonderful holiday with friends, family, and a cold beverage in hand. Today for Makeup Monday I am bringing you my favorite blush products that will give your cheeks that rosy, summer glow.

Let’s get poppin’.

I used the bareMinerals loose powder blush for the longest time and still continue to use it in the colder months. The color that I have always used is Thistle, which is a great darker color blush for the fall and winter. The loose powder allows you to really control how much product you are getting on your brush and how much is applied to the face. This product says on all day and gives your cheeks that healthy glow! Yours for $20.

You already knew that I was going to mention Becca Cosmetics because when it comes to glow Becca hits it on the highlighted cheekbone every time. They recently came out with new blush colors for the summer, and I finally purchased one after debating on a color for weeks. I went with the color Flowerchild, and I love it! These blushes are very pigmented and jus glide on the face so beautifully! These blushes are a little pricey at $32 for .2 oz, but I don’t ever force running out of it, so I think it pays off.

NYX is such a great brand and I don’t know where my life would be without it. It is affordable but still great quality. The NYX High Definition Blush in Amber is no exception; this blush is another great color for fall and transitions well into winter. With a price tag of only $6.99 you just can’t go wrong!

I hope you have a wonderful Holiday and I will see you later this week for another blog filled with words and such!
