Happy Monday and Happy late Mother’s Day to all the mommy’s reading this! It has been such a beautiful two days here in the mitten, and it makes me want summer so badly. Because I was wrapped up in Mother’s Day activities all weekend I wasn’t able to get over to Sephora and Ulta like I usually do but I will not let you down, the show must go on!
Let’s talk concealers.
MAYBELLINE MASTER CONCEAL

If you follow my blog you know I have an issue with buying concealers. I don’t know what it is, but whenever I see a new concealer, I must buy it. The Maybelline Face Studio Master Conceal Concealer is no exception. My sister suggested I try this product, and I am so glad I did. I use this for covering up blemishes after my foundation is applied and it gets the job done. Very high coverage and a medium consistency. This concealer reminds me a lot of IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye but not nearly as think. I apply a little bit on the back of my hand and rub around to warm up the product and gently pat onto the blemish, works like a charm. You can find this lovely little guy at Target for $7.99.
NYX HD Concealer – Green

Unless you legitimately live in an underground bunker, you know that color correcting is making a huge comeback. Every cosmetic brand from high end to low end has rolled out color correcting pallets, concealers, creams, primers, and magical fairy dust in the past few months. I finally broke down and bought the NYX HD Concealer in Green for reducing redness around blemishes and attempting to cover up acne scars. I think is product does what it is supposed to, but I don’t believe it is absolutely necessary which is why it took me so long to get on the color correcting train. I get ready for work very early in the morning and am half asleep while applying my makeup; I don’t need the extra step. You can also get this product at Target for $4.99.
MAYBELLINE SUPERSTAY CONCEALER

I think we can all agree that Maybelline makes some of the greatest drugstore concealers. The Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Concealer it a must in anyone’s collection. I picked this little guy up a few weeks ago and find myself reaching for him more than my NARS concealer. I use the color light because the ivory would be too pink for my skin tone. I love using this concealer when I want a super bright undereye. It is creamy and very easy to blend after I set it with powder I barely get any creasing. This product can be yours if you go to Target and buy it for $9.49.
