Today is Touch of Tay’s one year anniversary! To celebrate I have rolled out a brand new logo (above), created business cards, and a watermark to brand all of my Pinterest posts.
Before I get started, I want to thank the most important supporters of my blog, and that would be all of my 57 followers! I have become apart of such a wonderful network of amazingly talented crafter, bakers, and makers and am so thankful.
I started Touch of Tay on a whim a year ago today when I was ending an internship (my first job out of college) and was at such a low place in my life. Blogging gave me the outlet I needed to get creative and focus on myself.
Without further ado here is my 1 year and 40th blog post (my OCD loves the even number).
In today’s Birthday blog, I am going to create a top three list of the blogs I have done over the past year that I had the most fun crafting/blogging about.
Crafting Perler Beads with my sister brought back so many memories! She and I used to create these little guys on summer vacations back in grade school. We would always have so much fun, and I could not have been more excited to spend time with her now.
The Terrarium post was my FIRST post ever! I had no idea what I was doing and had no intentions on blogging anything. It was a spur of the moment thing. My mom and I drove all around town to get the supplies we needed, sat out on the driveway and spent some time together. Moments like those I hold very close to my heart. I still have both Terrariums in my kitchen and am currently getting ready to pass one off to my sister.
The Tie-Dye shoes were SOOOO out of my comfort zone but I approached them with an open mind, and they turned out lovely! I had such a great time wearing them in Chicago, I got to many compliments, and they are definitely a conversation starter.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOUUUUUUUU ONE MILLION TIMES! Seriously, the support and love I get from all of you is so heart warming it just fills me up with so much love! I can’t wait to see what this next year brings.
Happy Life ❤
