Hello again! Today I am going to show you another fabulous recipe using matcha green tea (I’m obsessed). Matcha green tea cookies with white chocolate chip chunks. These cookies taste great and have the wonderful healthy matcha tea incorporated; it makes you feel a little less guilty about eating a cookie.
I’m not even going to lie, I completely forgot to add the sugar when I was making these and I think they taste fine. Also, I ran out of flour and only used 1 1/2 cup. Whateverrrrrrrr.

Prep time: 20 minutes — You can handle this, girl!
Cook time: 20 minutes
Ok, this is what you need:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp matcha green tea powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- ¾ cup unsalted butter – melted
- ½ granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 ½ cups roughly chopped white chocolate or white chocolate chips
This is how you do it:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease baking sheets or line with parchment paper.
Sift flour, matcha, baking soda and salt together in a medium bowl.
Add brown sugar, butter and white sugar together in a large bowl.
Using an electric mixer until blended.
After, beat in vanilla extract, egg and egg yolk until light and creamy.
Mix both bowls together until dough is just blended
Add in white chocolate
Roll dough in your hands to form a ball and place on cooking sheet. Keeping them 2 to 3 inches apart.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or until edges are lightly browned.
I hope you enjoyed this recipe and your matcha cookies!
Happy Baking ❤
