Welcome back! Today instead of posting my normal DIY project I am going to show you how to make a smoothie including the ever popular matcha green tea powder.
If you haven’t heard of matcha tea, you sir are living under a rock. Click here to climb out from under it. Matcha is extremely good for your health and blahhh blahh blah.
Here is what you need*:
*I never measure anything, it’s actually something I am really bad at…sorry not sorry. I just eye ball everything. Add as much of whatever you want or as little or change the ingredients completely. Do you.
Mango
Price: .99 cents each
Pineapple chunks
Price: $4
Watermelon chunks
Price: $4
Kale
Price: .90 cents – the amount of kale you get for .90 cents is ridiculous.
Uno lime
Price: .80 cents
A blender
Price: $20 – I ❤ my blender
Matcha green tea powder – this can be a tricky ingredient to find. Here are a few places you can find it. Here, here and here. I got mine at the Better Health store.
Price: $14? I don’t remember how much I paid for it. Don’t hate me.
ONWARD:
1. Chop, cut, and slice everything to reasonable sizes. While making this smoothie, I realized I have no idea how to cut a mango. So be cool and click here before you end up mutilating your poor mango.

2. Add a few ice cubes to your blender and all of the other ingredients.
3. Blend and serve!
Hope you enjoy your vitamin packed matcha smoothie! Send me pictures! ❤
Still searching for a Mother’s Day gift? You’re in luck.
